Neil is a long term resident of Chiang Mai and he also makes regular visits to Hub 53 to do his blogging.  He is also an Akashic Records Reader and is the founder of his online company.  Neil says that he can really focus here, and make some good connections with interesting people like himself. That’s how he found himself at Hub53 Coliving and Coworking Space in lovely Chiang Mai!

What's your name and occupation?

Neil Burgess, I am retired now but I am the founder of www.GlobalAkasha.com. The site puts people in touch with Akashic Records readers.

What is an Akashic Records reader?

Are you a resident of Chiang Mai?

Yes.

How long have you been in Thailand?

10 years.

Why did you decide to come to Chiang Mai?

I had visited Chiang Mai many times on my travels and knew that this is the place that I wanted to live.  I eventually returned here in 2010 and met my partner here and we have been together ever since.

What are your favorite things about this neighborhood?

There is so much to do here.  Lots of restaurants and bars and also quite a lot of holistic places for alternative therapies and yoga.

Why do you visit Hub53?

I am a blogger and also do a lot of online calls. Sometimes I just can’t get motivated at home and I need a working space with like-minded people.  The staff at Hub 53 are great and I also get to meet a lot of other people.

What's one thing that cannot be missed in Chiang Mai?

2 things actually 1. Chiang Mai Holistic has so many activities going on and is a great place to meet people. 2. 7 Senses Gelato at Nimman, their affagato ice cream and coffee is amazing.
